Rather, VR has 3 main hurdles to overcome: Can it be improved? Sure, but for the most part that’s not necessary. Look, the technology is THERE and it works shockingly well. …unfortunately that future is still 2 or 3 years away (I’m thinking next console generation). Just last year, after a nearly 20 year absence, Virtual Reality made a comeback and after recieving the PlayStation VR as a Christmas gift I am convinced that while standard screen and controller gaming will NEVER go away and never should, Virtual Reality is absolutely “the future”. So it’s Thanksgiving and I’m sure we all have a ton of REAL stuff to be thankful for: our health, our families, the food on the table.īut today I’d like to say Thank You to the VR community. ![]()
